Scholarships

Alpharetta International Academy has partnered with the Georgia Student Scholarship Organization (GASSO, Inc.) so our families can participate in the Georgia Tuition Tax Credit program.

Individuals, couples and corporations who pay income taxes to the state of Georgia are eligible to contribute to our Scholarship Fund. Every approved contribution can be used as a 100% tax credit on a Georgia Income Tax Return.

Scholarship Contribution Limits:

• Individual - $1,000 or less
• Married couple filing joint return - $2,500 or less
• 75% of a corporation's income tax liability or actual amount donated, whichever is less

Since the Georgia Student Scholarship Organization (GASSO) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, contributions qualify for a charitable deduction on federal tax returns and are eligible for many corporate matching gift funds.

Step 1: Submit this Pre-Approval Form IT-QEE-TP1 to the Georgia Department of Revenue.

Step 2: Return completed Donor Designation Form, the donation check and a copy of Approved Form (IT-QEE-TP1) to GASSO, Inc.

Step 3: Elementary students must enroll in Public school to be eligible to receive a scholarship. Attendance is not required.

Step 4: Complete Scholarship Application Form and turn in to AIA Finance Manager.
