Homework Schedule For Spelling
1st Grade

Monday - Write each spelling word 3 times.
Tuesday - Spelling Practice #__ (see yellow sheet)
Wednesday - Spellwell (designated page only)
Thurdsay - Pretest (practice spelling test)

1. Do your best handwriting.
2. All your spelling homework should be done in the red/white Homework Book except for
Wednesday Spellwell.
3. Do a practice spelling test each night on a piece of paper and give most practice to the words
that you get wrong.
4. Say the word, spell the word, write the word. Use this as a guide.
5. There will be a Spelling Test each Friday. If we have a school activity that day, the test will be
Thursday.
