A Note from Mrs. Narayan

As you all know we are going to Roswell Recycling Center on a Field Trip
tomorrow. Children will come to school at the usual time and we will leave
AIA at 9:30am sharp.

- They must wear uniforms with the school logo and sneakers (no
sandals or flip flops).
- Recommendation: Each child can bring several items to be
recycled in a plastic grocery bag. This gives them a hands-on experience.

Thanks to Erika Lopez, Kayhee Dinasan, Trina Patton, Katherine Atwood and Bina
Tilva for driving the children.

A note about the Fall Festival Bake Sale was given to you on Thursday.
Melina Bischoff will be the contact person for the bake sale. Please
support her in any way you can. Thank you, Melina, for taking this on.
Thanks, also, in advance to everyone who will be baking for us!

You must have received a note on Friday regarding the Pizza Kit Sales. It
will be from Oct. 17th - Nov. 5th. This is Mrs. Casey and Mrs. Solomon's
project. This is our fund raiser to try to buy a piano for our new
location! I had to leave early on Friday due to Migraine, so we did
not get a chance to talk about safe, door to door selling.

If you have not signed up for a conference yet, please stop by and see me.
Attached please find the sign up sheet for those who are going out of town
this Friday, please email me your availability. Each conference will be
15 minutes in length, if you need more time, we will schedule another one
at a later date. Reminders will be sent home on Tuesday.

At the conference, you will get a Report Card with your child's
performance so far. You have been looking at their work at the end of each
month, so please bring any questions or concerns you have to the meeting.
We will do another report in January at the end of the first semester and
one at the end of the second semester. This reporting session is just an
interim report.

We finished our discussion on Recycling/Global Warming and what a great
way to top it off with a Field trip! We will be starting to learn about
the Presidential Election process in the next few weeks.
