A Note from Mrs. Bender

Thanks you for all your hard work in making the Fall Festival a success. The children
had a great time. I hope you got to a chance to go across the street and visit the new
elementary building. It will be open any day now.

The new swings will be put up the first of this week to complete the new "green"
playground. The children are very excited to get to play on it. They have been
watching the progress all last week asking when can they play!

On a personal note- my daughter Betsy was in a rowing regatta on Saturday. The boat
that she is the coxswain in received a gold metal! This regatta is the largest regatta of
the fall season in the southeast.

Please mark your calendar, this Tuesday the 4th, school is closed for the day. We
also have an early release day that only affects lunch bunch and afternooners on the
19th.
